Contact Congress on Saudi Guns

Congress Can Stop the

$1.1 Billion Arms Sale to the Saudis

Call Your Senators and House Rep

As the Saudis bomb Yemen with renewed ferocity President Obama has signed an agreement to sell the Saudis another billion dollars in weapons. “The latest proposed sale would include up to 153 Abrams tanks, 20 Hercules armored vehicles, 153 M2 .50 caliber machine guns and 266 7.62mm M240 machine guns” according the U.S. News and World Report.

We need phone calls, lots of phone calls to the offices of CT Congressmen saying, “Speak out and vote against any more weapons to Saudi Arabia”

If you’ve never called Congress it’s not big deal.  You won’t be talking to the member of Congress.  An aide will take the call.  Just say I’m  ****** of the city of ***** and I’d like to leave a message about a pressing matter concerning weapons sales to Saudi Arabia.  After you give the message ask the aide if they can tell you the position of the Senator or member of Congress on the matter.    Usually the office closes at 5, but even then you can leave a phone message.
